Hallo zusammen!

Hier möchte ich euch die beliebte Custom Rom Dirty Unicorns für das Nexus 6 vorstellen.

Dirty Unicorns ist ein Custom ROM welches stabil ist und zahlreiche Anpassungsmöglichkeiten hat. Die Idee das Rom zu entwickeln kam aus purer Langeweile zu Zeiten von Android 4.1.2 auf dem EVO 3D und wurde später zu einer Art Sucht (eine von der guten Seite) um zu sehen wo die Reise hinführt. Seitdem haben wir es auf immer mehr Geräte erweitert wie z.B. HTC One, Nexus 5, SGS4 und viele mehr. Wir haben schnell gemerkt, dass die User unsere Arbeit lieben, denn es war einfach der richtige Weg, den wir eingeschlagen haben. 

Wir waren und sind stolz auf das was wir machen, erreicht haben und das wir niemlas um Spenden gebeten haben um unsere Serverkosten zu bezahlen oder so mache andere Stories die ihr sicherlich kennt. Dieses ROM ist 100% KOSTENLOS und wird es auch immer sein.

Wir möchten auch alle öffentlich loben und uns bedanken bei denen, die uns auf dem Weg mit unserem wunderbaren Projekt geholfen haben. Damit sei gesagt, dies wäre nicht möglich ohne die Arbeit und die Hilfe von den unten aufgeführten  DANKE EUCH ALLEN!!

  This is due to restoring data/apps from Google. Go ahead and clear data and cache for theme chooser and theme provider then reboot you should be good moving forward.

• I changed my LCD density and now the navbar looks weird, what gives?
  This is currenly an issue that we are aware of and addressing. For now after you changed density reset navbar layout or stay on the stock density.

So, ich habe soeben am N6 das letzte Testbuild von Josh geflasht und am ersten Blick läuft es sehr flüssig. Bin gespannt wie es sich weiter verhält.

Hat sonst schon jemand Erfahrungen am N6 mit DU?

DU hat nun auch für das N6 eine Stable released. Werde den Thread mit dem Link zu XDA anpassen, sobald ich zu Hause bin.

2 Probleme habe ich jedoch:

• nach jedem Reboot wird das Datum auf 01.01.1970 gesetzt und somit gibt es mit WhatsApp und dem Kalender Probleme
• wenn das Device über einen längeren Zeitraum (Nacht) nicht verwendet wurde, dann lässt es sich nicht mehr wecken (war bei den Testbuilds so, die Stable läuft erst seit 15 Minuten auf meinem N6 - werde weiter beobachten)

Zu dem ersten Problem:
Hab da mit dem Dev Kontakt und er wird sich darum kümmern, also bin ich bei den Jungs absolut zuversichtlich, dass das Problem in naher Zukunft beseitigt wird.

Edit: Das Datum wird aber wieder auf das aktuelle nach gewisser Zeit zurückgesetzt.

Ich habe nach wie vor bei jedem Bootvorgang ohne WLAN das Problem, dass sich das Datum auf 01.01.1970 stellt und irgendeine Uhrzeit zustande kommt.
Somit gibt es Probleme mit WA, dem Kalender und Titanium Backup. Wenn WLAN an ist, alles ok.

Die Zeit und das Datum gehen somit beim Booten verloren, da das WLAN sofort verbindet, aktualisiert die Uhrzeit und das Datum sofort und es funktioniert.
Da aber die mobilen Daten länger benötigen (PIN Eingabe usw.), stellt sich das alles immer auf 01.01.1970.

Wie kann ich nun einen Log erstellen und dem Dev zukommen lassen, der den Bootvorgang bzw. den Anfang bis nach der PIN Eingabe aufzeichnet?

Bis dato aber leider keine Antwort vom Dev, aber schau ma mal.

Nur kurz zur Info, ab dem aktuellen Testbuild kann man mit einem "3rd Kernel Application" App die LED am N6 ansteuern. Rot, blau und grün.

Funktioniert super.

Jup, ich habe im Moment noch das letzte Testbuild (das auch nicht zu 100% offiziell war), da mit der Dev in diesem mit Erfolg den Time Bug gefixed hat.

Ich habe die Rom clean geflasht und siie läuft eigentlich ganz gut, außer man bootet neu, dann kann man keinen Pin mehr eingeben, die Tasten werden nicht angenommen.

Hab jetzt sicher 3 Std damit verbracht und 3 Mal neu geflasht, gesucht, geflasht.
An was es liegt, kann ich nicht sagen...

Ich hab wieder das Nandroid eingespielt - Phia kannst du das bitte auch mal versuchen, ob du das reproduzieren kannst und natürlich jeder andere auch, der die Rom am N6 laufen hat.

Problem vorerst gelöst. Es lag daran, dass ich mit TB Themes zurückgespielt habe, diese muss man nicht mal anwenden, dass es nicht funktioniert.

Ich bin vorerst mal mit verschiedenen Themes durch.

So, ich habe nun das aktuelle Testbuild geflasht. Am N5 mit dem aktuellen Testbuild funken die Themen, keine Probleme, am N6 jedoch besteht nach wie vor, das ua. Problem. Hat das zufällig sonst noch jemand festgestellt?

Ist zwar das zweite Testbuild, denn das erste habe ich nicht verlinkt, da noch "mehrere" Bugs drinnen waren.

Dieses Mal ist das Build von Alex, der zwar nicht einer der beiden Maintainer des N6 ist, jedoch auch ein Teil des offiziellen DU-Teams.
