Samsung Galaxy Note 2 — Ad-Hoc-Netzwerk für das Note 2

Hallo,ich habe ein Note 2 und möchte gerne wissen wann ein Update kommt
das das Note 2 diese Netzwerke erkennt.

Das geht doch schon lange! Kies air oder auch das neue Samsung Link und und und. Was genau oder wo genau hast du Probleme?

Hallo Stefan,
ich habe ein Netzwerk-Modul SkyFi das nur Ad-Hoc senden kann,ich möchte damit mein Teleskop steuern.
Mit meinem PC funktioniert das,nur mit dem Handy nicht ,da das Note 2 Ad-Hoc nicht unterstützt.Habe auch schon die Hotline
von Samsung um Auskunft gebeten,die sagen,es liegt am Betriebssystem des Note 2 ( Android-Google )

http://www.southernstars.com/products/skysafari_android/index.html schau mal hier rein. Dort gibt es Androidapps für skyfi.

Alles leider in Englisch schau dich da mal um

Hallo Stefan,
das SkySafari Pro habe ich schon käuflich erworben und auf meinen Note 2 eingespielt.Das Problem ist,
das das Handy eben nicht das Signal von dem Ad-Hoc-Modul empfängt.Bei meinem Notebook wird das Signal von dem Modul empfangen und ich kann dann die Steuerung aufbauen,mit dem Note 2 nicht.Habe auch schon gegoogelt und in
Foren nachgeschaut,alle die Android als Betriebssystem auf dem Handy haben,haben die selben Probleme.Deswegen ja hier meine
Frage wann es ein Update gibt das Android Ad-Hoc Netzwerke unterstützt.

Yes! SkySafari for Android supports telescope control, both via Wi-Fi and bluetooth. Unfortunately, Google has chosen to disable support for Ad Hoc WiFi networks, such as generated by our SkyFi wireless adapter, by default in the standard Android OS. You can enable Ad Hoc WiFi network support on your Android device, but you'll have to root the device to do it. Alternately, you can join both SkyFi and your Android device to an infrastructure WiFi network, such as provided by a typical home router - but then you'll need to carry that router with you, and find a way to power it, when you go to your remote observing site.

As a result, we've also decided to offer telescope control in SkySafari for Android via bluetooth. This is something that isn't possible with iOS devices due to Apple restrictions. Initially, SkySafari for Android supported the Starry Night BlueStar bluetooth serial adapter. We can't offer support for every third-party bluetooth serial adapter on the market, but we've programmed SkySafari to use standard Bluetooth Android interfaces, so most should work. If you can configure your bluetooth adapter to control your telescope from a Mac or PC, it will probably work with SkySafari for Android. A list of bluetooth serial adapters that are known to be compatible, and not compatible, with SkySafari, is provided on this page.

Ja jetzt sehe ich es auch. es hilft wohl nur der Weg über root. Hoffe jemand kann hier einen Weg aufzeigen wie man mit root ein Ad-hoc Netzwerk freischaltet. Da bin ich mit meinem Latein am Ende.
