HTC Desire - Unterschied "Exchange ActiveSync" und "Google Sync" - Verspätete Synchronisierung

Hallo,

meine Frage bezieht sich auf die Synchronisierung zwischen Googlemail (Kalender, Kontakte und Mail) und dem HTC Desire. Teilweise dauert die Synchronisierung >10 Minuten - und das obwohl Push bzw. Imap eingestellt ist.

Habe mich an HTC gewandt, und hier die Antwort:

"Thanks for contacting HTC This is normal for the phone to only syncronize every 10 minutes. If you want push mail and calendar you will need to set up your Google account as Exchange server on your phone. You can do this under Settings -> Accounts & Sync -> Add account Choose Exchange. With server address m.google.com and user name is your email. Leave domain empty."

Nun bin ich irritiert, welche Option ich also für die Synchronisierung nehmen soll: Originäre "Google" Sync oder eben "Exchange ActiveSync". Lt. HTC wäre das Zweitere vorzuziehen, da dadurch ein "echtes" Push (ohne Verzögerung) möglich wäre.

Hat jemand eine Idee diesbezüglich? Wie lange dauert die Synchronisierung bei Euch i.d.R.?

erstmal danke für die vielen Antworten. HTC hat sich bei mir nochmal gemeldet, diesmal mit folgendem Beitrag:

"If you use the normal Google syncronizing in your phone it will only sync every 10minutes. Its using IMAP to sync your email. If you want push mail you need to use Exchange. Follow those instructions and you will get push mail, calendar and contacts. Kind regards. "

Kann das jemand bestätigen? Das würde mich schon wundern, den meistens (!) kommen die Infos (Kalender, Mails) schon <10 Minuten, nur manchmal eben >10 Minuten.
