Recovery Image

Ein „Recovery Image“ stellt einen „Recovery-Modus“ zur Verfügung. Im Recovery Mode lassen sich Custom ROMs manuell flashen. Außerdem bieten die verschiedenen Recovery Images einige nützliche Features, wie die Möglichkeit ein Nandroid-Backup zu machen und dieses auch wiederherzustellen, die Sdcard zu partitionieren und vieles mehr.

Recovery Images

Der momentan genutzte Standard für das G1 ist das Recovery RA_Dream_1.7.0.

Der Funktionsumfang erlaubt die komplette Einrichtung des G1 ohne Console. Die Quelle : [1]

[Alt+X] Go to console :: bring up the console 
[Alt+T] USB-MS Toggle :: enable/disable USB mass storage (use when the phone is connected to your PC) 
[Alt+B] Backup/Restore (recovery partition not included!)
   [Alt+0] Nand backup :: Make a Nand backup 
   [Alt+1] Nand + ext backup :: Make a Nand + ext backup 
   [Alt+2] Nand restore :: Restore a Nand backup
