McAfee WaveSecure Uninstall Protection Add-on (UPA) provides additional security and locks your phone when it detects that McAfee WaveSecure is removed. If you uninstall UPA, McAfee WaveSecure will lock the phone to secure it too.IMPORTANT:
McAfee WaveSecure UPA does not work by itself and must be used in conjunction with McAfee WaveSecure. You need to install McAfee WaveSecure first.
If you have an Android 2.2 (Froyo) or newer device, there is no need to install this add-on. You can assign WaveSecure as a device administrator to prevent the app from being uninstalled.

this uninstallprotection is merely a marketinggag. if wavesecure is detected on the phone by a potential thief he wont bother uninstalling the software - it would end in a hardreset.
it would be better to make the software invisible - like theftaware
