This App provides speech input (Dictation) for Ubuntu desktops.The Ubuntu software will be available for download from the Ubuntu Software Center.
Saving time and effort, Ubuntu Speech Input makes it possible to dictate an email, letter, or enter information into a spreadsheet while either sat at the computer, or doing other tasks.
A local area network is required for both the Android device this app runs on, and the Ubuntu Pc so that the recognised speech can be directed for typing.
Please note that presently this App only supports dictation, and voice commanding will be included in future updates.
README: The desktop software for Ubuntu Desktops is currently under review for release in the Ubuntu Software Center, please email me and I will email the software to you.
