The Battle for Wesnoth is a turn-based tactical strategy game with a high fantasy theme and RPG elements.
Build up a great army, gradually turning raw recruits into hardened veterans. In later games, recall your toughest warriors and form a deadly host against whom none can stand! Choose units from a large pool of specialists, and hand-pick a force with the right strengths to fight well on different terrains against all manner of opposition.
Wesnoth has many different sagas waiting to be played out. Nicht stabil.... Das spiel ist super, einfach aber macht sehr viel spass. Ich kenne es schon vom PC. Leider stürzt das spiel auf meinem galaxy tab 7.7 öfters mal ab

Yay! Multiplayer hast arrived! I just love this game, I've been playing this game on my PC before. The android port is great! Runs smoothly on my LG Optimus 2x.

Great game! One of the best strategy games for android, maybe THE best. Works great on Asus Transformer.

Really good Project I knew this game before I bought it because we had a Linux PC some time ago I play this game since quite a few years and I really like it and was quite happy to see it on the Android store. So downloaded the Free version to see wether my phone can handle the game (HTC Sensation) and I think it runs smothely. So I bought the fullversion. The star missing is for becomming really slow when many units are in the game -.- (Yeah I thought so it still is a mobile phone) and because the don't keep their patch-scedule... waiting for multiplayer since a few months now... want to beat my bro in a good game while sitting in the car... But still recommend to buy really great game. I think it is on the version from the PC can't find any differences but test wether it is running with free version first.

Multiplayer? Es ist sehr gut umgesetzt ( bis auf ein paar kleinigkeiten ). Gute animationen, aber warum zum teufel kommt der multiplayer modus net raus? Das spiel lebt eben vom mpm und net campaigns. Ich bezweifle mittlerweile dass es überhaupt mal kommt, da netma info status im spiel korrigiert wird! (immernoch september 2011 rofl!!!)

Super Spiel Für Fans von rundenbasierten Strategiespielen. Nur schade, dass das für September 2011 (!!) angekündigte Update noch immer nicht da ist und dass man anders als auf dem PC nicht die zahlreichen Erweiterungen nicht vom Server herunterladen kann. Trotzdem gibts von mir 5 Sterne. Lässt sich auf meinem A500 Tablet optimal bedienen.

Great game! Really great game! The only thing missing is the promised multi player mode. Never played it on the PC before but its really fun on a tablet. It gets you hours on hours of playtime with a bunch of campaigns and the promised multiplayer mode (if it's ever going to arrive ...!?).
