Florida ohne Probleme HTC Desire HD. War ein guter begleiter quer durch Florida. Alle Adressen gefunden (Eingabe direkt via karte oder Adresse) . Deutsche Stimme ist etwas speziell. Weder Batterieprobleme noch groebere Abstuerze. Einmal WWW access fur neueingabe der User ID benoetigt. Ist aber nach letztem update nicht mehr vorgekommen. Fuer den Preis absolut zu empfehlen.

Gute Navigation Desire S Rundreise Florida ohne Probleme. Funktionsumfang teilweise besser als konventionelle Navis. Stimmen sollte man vorher testen. Deutsche Ansagen gewöhnungsbedürftig, besser englische Stimme wählen.

Brauchbar Für den Preis (~16€) ganz ok, aber... -bei Korrekturen, bei denen zum Schluß nur noch ein Ziel übrig bleibt, läßt sich die Zielführung nicht wieder aufnehmen=>Ziel muß neu eingegeben werden -ab und zu 100% Last, unbedienbar=>über Einstellungen 'beenden erzwingen'; Neustart der App -bei mehreren Abbiegemanövern hintereinander (typisch Freeway-Wechsel) unklare und zu späte Ansagen=>Abbiegen nach Anzeige -keine Straßennamenansage beim Richtungswechsel( im direkten Vergleich mit Navigon Lösung) -...

Brauchbare Navigation für wenig Geld Habe mit der App Florida bereist und war im Allgemeinen zufrieden. Die Navigation ist akkurat, die gesuchten Ziele waren alle vorhanden. Die Handhabung entspricht gängigen Navis. Ein paar Problemchen will ich aber nicht verschweigen: Abfahrten von den amerikanischen Highways befinden sich bisweilen links. Häufig teilen sich die Highways (z.B. drei Spuren in die eine, drei Spuren in eine andere Richtung). Copilot sagt dann aber stets nur: "Nehmen Sie die Ausfahrt", verschweigt aber, dass man sich dafür links einordnen muss. Dies sieht man nur durch genauen Blick auf die Anzeige. Das kann einen bei komplizierten Strecken auf vielbefahrenen Highways durchaus Probleme machen. Eine 3D-Ansicht der Situation wird äusserst selten angeboten. Die Dame im Navi fängt schon wenige Sekunden nach dem Einschalten an, Anweisungen zu geben. Dies allerdings schon dann, wenn die Dame noch keinerlei Ahnung hat, wo sie sich befindet und in welche Richtung es gehen soll. Die ersten Minuten muss man also einfach überhören und sich selbst orientieren. Namen der Ziele erfordern oft eine spezielle Schreibweise: Saint Augustine -> St Augustine, Miami International Airport -> Miami Intl Airport

Ok No issues @ Galaxy S I Hot CPUs and Batterie drain are a HW design issue. Don't blame the SW. Think about it! Tip: match car loader w phone needs >1A

You get what you pay for I used it on my HTC Desire. It was running stable and didn't once freeze up. It drains the Battery fast, Especially on its default settings (deactivate constant backlighting!). No app in existance should drain the Battery faster than the Car's energy support recharges it ON DEFAULT SETTINGS! Gets quite hot, too. The Westcoast maps were up-to-date, but lacked proper one-way or private-property tagging; don't follow instructions blindly! Rerouting is fast, as is finding the GPS signal. For the price it's ok

Unbrauchbar Schade, aber leider unbrauchbar. Der Akku entlädt sich sogar während der Auflade-Verbindung und die CPU wird glühend heiß (Galaxy S II).

Samsung Galaxy Tab Seit Update unbrauchbar. Auflösung fehlerhaft und ständiges Einfrieren. :-(

maps are not up-to-date for US and CN; for $9.99 it seems ok; drag routing is nice feature for pad but the screen on smartphone is too small

offline (without internet connection, no wifi, no bluetooth) navigation is good, but it drains my battery even with 12V power in the car...
