Auch wenn im Laufe des Vormittags schon einige Blogs berichtet haben, dass das Android 2.3 Update für das Xperia X10 in Deutschland verfügbar sein soll, scheint dies nicht der Fall zu sein. Laut der offiziellen Sony Ericsson Homepage ist das Update zwar schon da und kann installiert werden, die Aussagen auf Facebook sehen aber etwas anders aus.
Dort heißt es:
Für freie Geräte, ohne Branding eines Netzanbieters, ist das Update für im Laufe des August geplant. Ein genaues Datum kann ich dir leider trotzdem nicht nennen.
Wann Geräte mit einem Branding geupdatet werden sollen, ist jedoch Sache des Netzanbieters und darauf haben wir keinen Einfluss und können demnach darüber auch keine Aussagen treffen.
Zwar ist diese Meldung schon 21 Stunden alt, dass das Update verfügbar sein soll ist jedoch schon seit mindestens 20 Stunden auf der offiziellen Homepage zu lesen.
Ist es schon jemandem gelungen, das Update herunterzuladen und zu installieren?

Wenn man dem Sony Ericsson Blog glauben kann, wird es also noch ein paar Tage dauern, bis das Update ausgeliefert wird, allerdings ist SE damit immer noch im Zeitplan.
