Kaum haben wir gestern mehrere Blog-Artikel über den Google Market und seine Unzulänglichkeiten lesen können, erreicht mich heute morgen eine Email mit dem Betreff:

Nun las ich natürlich erwartungsvoll weiter.

So ist nun also genau das passiert, was bereits gestern von einigen hier prognosiziert wurde schon passiert. Der Market bekommt Konkurenz ab dem 15. September. Interessant ist die Tatsache, dass dieser neue App-Distributor scheinbar auch vorinstallierte Clients auf Handsets ausliefern will/wird ... Man darf also gespannt sein wie sich das ganze weiter entwicklen wird.
Heute nachmittag werde ich mich dort mal anmelden und so möglich mal hinter die Kulissen schauen. Ich bin schon jetzt gespannt wie Google darauf reagieren wird und ob das den Market-Update beschleunigt. Ich werde dann berichten.
Nachtrag 04.05.09 : Dieser neue Market ist eine Französische Firma bzw. wird von einer solchen betrieben und ist ein "Co-Venture" mit dem Android-Tablet hersteller "Archos".
Es werden dort auch schon Angaben gemacht wie die Richtlinien für das Archos 5 zu erfüllen sind und ein kleines SDK gibts dort auch dazu.
Man darf also gespannt sein, wie es dort weitergehen wird.

Da bin ich aber mal gespannt. Verwundert bin ich natürlich nicht. Hab gestern ja noch geschrieben, dass der schwache Market mit Sicherheit einige externe Anbieter anziehen wird...
